DMCS, an inspirational institutional abode for education has been the hallmark of a team of deep-seated educators who have carved out an emphatic roadmap for our younger generation. Emboldened by the aforesaid thoughts for the academic year 2025-26, we have delivered a successful academic year marked by extraordinary achievements and towering accolades. 
With steadfast commitment, DMCS has strived to attain golden milestones that reflect both academic distinction and holistic development. Our motto, “Emphasis is on Life”, and our vision to nurture Dreamers, Achievers, and Winners continue to serve as the eternal driving force for the entire DMCS family. This annual report encapsulates the journey of the year gone by—celebrating accomplishments, highlighting innovations, and reaffirming our pledge to inspire and empower every learner who walks through our portals.

Graduation Day Ceremony Grade X:  

The Graduation Day for the Grade X students of our school was celebrated with great pride and grandeur in February 2025. The students were duly felicitated with mementos by our Honourable Chairman Dr Joseph V G. In his powerful discourse, he encouraged our graduating students to set goals, dreams, navigate the journey of life, spread positivity and bring harmony.

Graduation Day Ceremony  UKG:

The special occasion of UKG Graduation Day was graced by the Chief guest  
Ms Vasumathi , Centre Head of Hello Kids , Vidyaranyapura and DMCS School Director, Ms Vrinda Coutinho. The graduates were honored with Mementos.

Results of the Board Examination 2024-25:

 Our school proudly achieved 100% results in Grade X Board Examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).  The Class toppers were duly felicitated during the Independence Day Celebrations.

Teachers Orientation Programme

The new academic session 2025-26 started with a five-day Teacher Orientation Programme in the month of May 2025. 

Capacity Building Programme on Learning Outcome and Pedagogies was conducted by Ms. Gowri Prabha Prasad, shared valuable insights into innovative pedagogical approaches.

  • ROBOTICS: An engaging Robotics activities are conducted by InfinityQ for      the students   

       who have opted the Robotics sessions.

  • Health Check up: We conduct Annual Health check up for our students in our      school campus. The Doctors from Dr Agarwal’s Eye hospital, KCD dental      Clinic and Sparsh Hospital visited our school to examine our students.

 

Parents Involvement:
Parents visited our school as volunteers to judge various co-curricular activities conducted in the school, adding a new dimension to the competitions.

  • Parent teachers association plays a significant role in the development and improvement of the school by fostering collaboration between parents and teachers.
  • Family Day was celebrated in August with great enthusiasm and enjoyment. We witnessed enthusiastic family’s participation in the Family Fashion Show, Creative Newspaper Dressing, From Shelf to Chef cooking contest, and the delightful Golden Glam Walk of grandparents with grandchildren and programme concluded with fun filled Sportify games.
  • Kinder Fun - Parent's Day - 'Cooking Without Fire' Activity 
    Parents enthusiastically teamed up with their little ones to prepare a variety of creative dishes.
  • Parents’ Engagement Day was held in July 2025. The Game based engaging activities involved, both teachers and parents making the event highly entertaining and inclusive.
     

NEW INITIATIVES

  • GEMS MAGAZINE  
    Our in-house monthly magazine GEMS, successfully completing more than a decade of elite publications , and being one of the premium DMCS offerings has received a staggering facelift of total 12 pages from its 8 Pager mark-up.  A Novel Concept of rewarding GEMS Magazine Writers has been conceived wherein they will be adorned with GEMS STAR OF THE MONTH BADGES after undergoing rigorous checks of quality and premium writing.
  • DMCS & Sparsh Hospital Tie-up:We have signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with the esteemed ‘Sparsh hospital’ to support the students in achieving their optimal health and academic goals. Sparsh Hospital will aid emergencies and give discounts to our school children under medical situations.
  • Donation of Books: Encouraging students to replace the distribution of chocolates by donating books to the school library on their birthdays is an initiative taken up by our school to promote reading and sharing of knowledge.
  • School Canteen: The School canteen was inaugurated at DMCS
    Vidyaranyapura, which helped students to avail the canteen facilities. The School has tied up with Asha Foods and Home-Fresh Delights.
  • Advanced Computer Lab: A fully equipped computer lab with the latest hardware and software has been reinstated to offer DMCS students a dynamic environment in developing essential IT skills.
  • DMCS Dance Feet – 2025: An inter school dance competition was held in the month of November at the School campus. Nine schools took part in the event. The competition was judged by noted choreographers Ms. Teju and Mr.Rajiv Ganiga. Trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners.
  • Alumni Meet: The Alumni Meet was organised in the month of November 2025 in which passed out students between the years 2014 to 2018 participated with invigorating enthusiasm and exultant interactions.
  • Skill and Innovation Exhibition was organised in the month of October 2025.  

 
In our constant endeavour to prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century, our school has taken a significant step by introducing Skill and Innovation Activities for DMCS students. The event was organized for our students to showcase their talents across six domains — Literary & Communication skills, Health and Wellness, Finance & Entrepreneurship skills , School Cottage Industry, Cyber Security Skills and Robotics— through creative models and displays. 

  • Disha – Goal 2  : A career guidance Programme was organized  in the month of August 2025 for the students of Grades IX and X. The session, led by                     Mr. Purushotham Gururaj, Corporate Consultant and Chief Business Strategist, guided students on career planning, goal setting, and future opportunities.  
  • Drugs Awareness campaign in collaboration with the Vidyaranyapura Police station was conducted at DMCS, Vidyaranyapura. Students from neighbouring schools were also part of the awareness drive held in the month of June 2025.
  • Planetarium Shows – 
    The School organized an exciting and enriching Planetarium Show in the month of October at the school campus for the neighbouring preschools. Around ten preschools participated with great enthusiasm under the inspiring community- welfare initiative. A planetarium show was also conducted in the month June 2025 for the DMCS students at the School campus. 

    Special Assemblies:
     
    Special Assemblies included Unity in Diversity, Dance forms of India, Kargil Vijay Divas, International Yoga Day, Mahathma Gandhi Jayanthi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanthi and many other special days.
    Promoting the secular culture of our country, we also had the celebration of all the important festivals highlighting their significance such as Dussehra, Sankranti, Diwali, Eid, Christmas and others in the Academic Year 2025-26.

    Other Celebrations include:

     
    Founder's Day is a significant event in the school year. It is celebrated on 18th June every year, marking the birthday of our Honourable Chairman, Dr Joseph VG. This year DMCS had invited the children from Sahana Shakthi Trust for the special programme that included a prayer, vibrant dance performances by DMCS students and children from Sahana Shakthi Trust that added festive cheer.

    Investiture Ceremony  
    Newly elected leaders were vested with responsibilities and powers during an Investiture ceremony in the month of June. The newly elected student council took charge in the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Naveesh H. S., a national-level sprinter.

    Independence Day: Celebrated the 79th Independence Day with grandeur and patriotic fervor. The event featured a ceremonial flag hoisting by Chief Guest Retired Wing Commander Rajendra Prasad, an impressive March Past, cultural performances, and recognition of academic toppers. 

    Ethnic Day was planned for the students on the occasion of Dussera Celebrations to showcase the culture & Tradition of India.

    Kannada Rajyotsava:
    The Kannada Rajyotsava celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National and State Flags, followed by the National Anthem and Nadageethe with floral tribute & Speech by the Staff and the Student Council members.

    Children’s Day  
    Teachers presented songs, a comedy dance, and a colourful fashion show, which entertained the students. 
    The Food Fest brought joy for children, where students relished delicious treats together with friends, making the day memorable.
     
  • CCA Activities: The school conducted vibrant CCA activities such as Individual Theatre competition, Kite making, Dress Designing, Solo Dance and many more for the holistic development of our students.
  • Kinderfun Activities- The kinder fun tiny tots indulged in a number of activities to promote their creativity and learning in a fun way by observing colour days like  blue day, red day, yellow day, pink day, orange day. Origami, Fun & Sports, Read a Book, Drawing activity, Sow and Grow, Salad Making activity were remarkable initiatives under the CCA Umbrella.
  • Sports:   Inter House Sports Activities like Touch Rugby, Foot ball, Box cricket, Frisbee  , Kho Kho and many more sports competitions were conducted for  the overall physical development, team work and discipline of the students in collaboration with ‘Sportify’. 
  • Scouts and Guides: The Scouts and Guides attended the district level Dwitiya Sopana testing camp and Rajya Puraskar online written examination for the State award in November 2025.

    The School celebrated Thinking Day in February 2025 and  Bharat Scouts and Guides Flag Day in November 2025 with a flag hoisting ceremony, cultural performances, and a brief presentation on the significance of the Scouts and Guides movement. 

    DMCS Vidyaranyapura hosted the Dwitiya Charan for Cubs and Rajath Pankh Testing camp for the Bulbuls in ollaboration with the Bharath Scouts and Guides, Yelahanka unit in December 2025. A staggering count of around 300 students from various schools participated in the Mega Event.
     
    Talent Fiesta:
    Children presented cultural programmes, musical Orchestra for the teachers which was a memorable event to honour the dedication and hard work of the teachers.

    Galore 2025:
    Our students participated in the Galore 2025- Space Explorers, organised by the Garden City University in the month of August. The objectives of the event were to encourage students to explore the concepts of space, science and futuristic economies. DMCS students brought accolades to our school by winning and standing tall in an array of competitions.

    Student Council Activities
    The DMCS Student Council Members have been significant contributors for the academic year 2025-26 and have heralded important Training Sessions on topics like Health and Hygiene, Examination Preparation and  Time Management. Discipline Maintenance, Event Management, Club Activities are the other remarkable contributions of the DMCS Student council members. 

    International and National Olympiad examinations: Our students brought laurels to the school by securing gold and silver medals in The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) Olympiad examinations, reflecting their dedication and academic excellence.
    DMCS -Hall of Fame

    It was heartening to note DMCS Vidyaranyapura towering accomplishments during the Academic Year 2025-26.
  • The School was conferred with prestigious K12 Award by ELDROK for excelling in the extra-curricular and Sports Education programme, which is a matter of special pride.

 

  • Felicitation Of Student By Bangalore Sahodaya School Complex: One of our students Abhay Prasad scored centum in the grade X Board Examination in the subject Social Science. He was felicitated with a cash prize by the Bangalore Sahodaya School Complex.

 

  • Taekwondo: We are proud to share that our students participated in the 4th InterSchool Taekwondo Championship 2025, organized by Royal Taekwondo Academy at Kuvempu Adarsha Public School. Our school won 12 Gold, 13 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals — and secured 3rd place overall among 30 schools! 

Aurelius Interschool Sports Competition
Sniti R. Khatavkar of Grade III brought pride to our school by securing 3rd place in the 25m Freestyle Swimming event at the Aurelius Interschool Sports Competition held at Euro School on 2nd August 2025. She was felicitated with a medal and a certificate.
 
State-Level Inter-School Dance Competition
 
Sai Prarthana of Grade V A brought laurels to our school by securing 3rd place in the State-Level Inter-School Dance Competition held on 23rd August 2025. In recognition of her outstanding achievement, she was felicitated with a trophy and a certificate. 
CBSE Activities:  
CBSE Activities has always been an integral part of the School curriculum.This year saw the intertwining of board activities pairing Karnataka and Ladakh. The 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' (EBSB) program, launched by the Government of India, saw great learning about the paired state at the DMCS Campus.
CBSE Activities included activities such as the Veer Gatha, Ek ped maa ke naam, CBSE Expression Series and Eco-club Activities like herbal garden, Carbon footprints and management of E-waste were conducted involving students across the grades who participated with great enthusiasm.

Structured Assessment for Analyzing Learning (SAFAL) Exam Digital mode 2025-26
SAFAL EXAM was conducted successfully at DMCS for Grade 6 and 9 students in the subjects Math, English, EVS and Science.
Rewards and Recognitions:
DMCS Rewards and Recognition is a glittering corridor of the golden achievements decorated by the DMCS Student community. Winners of the CCA Activities, Sports & Sportify Activities, the Class Prefects, Best House Award, Best class Award, Gems Star Award and Library Star were awarded with Shields, Medals, Badge of Honours and certificates. The winners run a victory lap with colourful pom poms and placards to celebrate their exemplary win. 

Counselling Sessions:
The school counsellor conducted insightful sessions relating to academics, social media usage, Adolescence, Anti bullying, Good touch and Bad touch and POCSO Act. Counselling sessions were also organised for parents on Relationship of Child and Parents, counseling sessions were held on topics, Teachers Emotional Quotient and classroom management.
ACADEMICS
Remedial classes, Class tests, Revision Techniques, worksheets were diligently provided as major Academic catalyst for students.

Parent-Teacher Meetings are conducted after each Periodic assessment, and term examinations to keep parents updated with the progress of their wards.

Grade X students completed their first Pre-boards examination. We wish Grade X  all the very best for their board examinations and a bright and prosperous future ahead. The forthcoming academic year eagerly awaits the Graduation Day Ceremony for Grade X. 

The Annual Day remains the most captivating and enchanting event for the DMCS family, a celebration that brings together the spirit of learning, creativity, and togetherness. 

The Annual Day celebration stands as a fitting finale to an academic year filled with extraordinary achievements and golden milestones. It encapsulates the collective spirit of the DMCS community and reaffirms our vision of nurturing Dreamers, Achievers, and Winners.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Honourable Chairman, Dr. Joseph V.G., for being our pillar of strength and torch-bearer in the beautiful DMCS journey.

We also express our sincere appreciation to our respected Director, Ms. Vrinda Coutinho, for her unwavering support in all DMCS endeavors and initiatives.

A special note of thanks goes to our Principal, the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff members, and our ever-supportive parents, whose accompaniment has enriched the great learning experience at DMCS
